Lisa Ray was born on 4 April, 1972 in Canada to an Indian father and Polish mother. In 1994, Ray started her cinematic career in a Tamil movie, and later she acted in the Telugu, Bollywood and Hollywood movies.

She is also an acclaimed, award-winning actress who starred in the Oscar-nominated films, and among those Deepa Mehta’s Water has given a prestigious credit to the actress. She has also hosted many television shows and has been a brand ambassador for Rado Watches.
